Unlocking a Sony phone is very easy, but requires a small check before we can begin processing the code.
With your normal working SIM card in the phone, dial *#*#7378423#*#* (the code spells “service”). A menu will appear. Select Service Info from the menu, then SIM Lock. A list of 5 locks will be shown, showing if the phone is locked, and how many attempts to unlock the phone remain. The bottom example is locked with zero tries remaining. This phone is locked but cannot be unlocked by an unlock code. You will need to send this phone to us to unlock, and carries an additional charge.

If your phone can be unlocked, we will process the details you provided and send a 16 digit unlock code. When received, insert the SIM card you wish to use and turn the phone on. You will see a grey screen asking for the unlock code. Please be very careful entering the code as you have limited tries available. Once you are certain you have entered the correct code, press the Unlock button. You should see a breif message stating “Network Unlock Successful”. LG

Insert the SIM card you wish to use. If your phone shows a screen asking for the unlock code, simply enter the code and press unlock. You will see a short message stating “Network Unlock Successful”.
If you do not see a screen asking for the unlock code, you will have to enter it manually. This can be a little confusing.
For this exampe, we will us the LG Spirit, but please adjust the service code to match your phone model.
You need to know the model number of the phone you are unlocking. This can usually be found on a label under the battery, or in the Settings menu under About Phone. The LG Spirit for example, is H440N.
Dial 3945#*XXX# (XXX is your model number, so the Spirit would be 3945#*440#). A service menu should appear showing the different locks on the phone. If a menu does not appear, you may need to redial 2945#*440#.
Select Network lock from the list shown, and enter the code we provided. You should see a breif message saying “Network unlock successful”.
